Everyone is aware that real India resides in villages and our nation is an agriculture based country. Today when we are moving towards the goal of becoming a superpower we cannot afford to neglect the development of villages. India’s Ex-President Dr. Abdul Kalam’s vision 2020 will come true only when the vast rural population becomes educated and self reliant. This was the dream that had seen by a visionary and the Founder Chairman Shri. Annasaheb Jolle while establishing the Sahakar Education and Social welfare Society at Examba. Sapling planted at that time by the Chairman has become a huge tree with the co-operation of the Board of Directors, Department of Education and the entire rural community, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language barriers. The society took up this cause seriously and because of the hard work put in by the management and staff we spread over in almost every education sector, right from the Anganwadi to the professional degree colleges like BSW and BCA and also Post graduate degree like MSW and technical education through Sugar technology course. Today we are on a mission to produce strong, healthy and patriotic citizens who will lead the nation in the days to come. Our various Institutes are shaping their careers by training them through academics, sports and extra-curricular activities.
In 2013 we stared school in a very small building but today we have an International quality Integrated campus of 18.2 acres at Nangnoor Nipani . Our classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and interactive white boards for audio visual teaching. We have a well-equipped Hi-Tech computer lab and large collection of books in our library. At our campus we have merged Indian culture with modern technology.
Apart from spreading education in this part of the state our mission is empowering our sisters. Our society has formed over 2000 self-help groups. Women have imbibed the culture to work in co-operation and harmony with each other. We are trying to generate the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the women and simultaneously even we are generating employment for the needy ones.
While walking on this path, we are totally aware of our social responsibilities and as a part of it we are starting a residential school for mentally challenged children. We are getting a very good response for this cause from all sections of the society. In the days to come we hope that it will be one of the best mentally Challenged school in North Karnataka.
More than 3000 students are pursuing their career in the aforesaid Institutions run by the Sahakar Education, which are extending infrastructure facilities including systematically constructed building, gymnasium, play ground, classrooms, computers, well equipped library and laboratory and well qualified and experienced teaching staff.
The Sahakar Education is not only serving the student community, but also actively engaged in social and economic well being of the people. With an earnest desire to make women self-reliant, it has founded more than 2000 woman self-help groups throughout Belgaum district and has become support to their life by extending facilities such as loans on lesser interest rates, financial aid and machineries in subsidized prices.
Besides giving a decent job to women, Asha Jyoti Family Counseling Centre ( F.C.C ) Chikodi and Santwana Womens Helpline Centre Athani and Nipani, the twin Institutions run by this society are lending their humanitarian services in the form of aid and advice to womenfolk against all types of injustice and atrocities. We humbly request the rural public to make best use of various programmes implemented by our society.
